Overview
Sage AI now uses a request-based billing model designed to make AI usage simpler, more predictable, and easier to monitor across your organization.
Instead of tracking AI usage through tokens, every supported Sage AI action is counted as an AI request. This provides greater transparency into usage while making it easier to understand your monthly AI consumption.
Note: The previous token-based billing model is being deprecated. Existing customers will be migrated to the new request-based model. Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) will reach out with more information regarding the transition and your applicable plan.
How AI Requests Work
For standard Sage AI capabilities, one AI action equals one AI request.
For example, generating a headline, translating a story, or requesting related articles each consumes one AI request.
Your monthly AI request quota is shared across all users within your organization.
Future Enhancements
Certain advanced AI capabilities introduced in the future may consume more than one AI request depending on their complexity. Any such changes will be communicated before they become available.
