Ads Not Rendering on the Website

If ads are not appearing on the website, the cause is usually related to AdSense configuration, Page Builder ad slots, or Google Ad Manager settings. Follow the steps below to debug the issue.

Debugging Checklist
1. Check AdSense Integration

  • Open Page Builder → Settings.
  • Verify the Google AdSense ID is configured.
  • Check the Insert Custom Code section for the AdSense script.
  • If missing, re-add the configuration.

2. Verify on the Website

  • Check the page on desktop and mobile.
  • Refresh the page multiple times.
  • Test in incognito mode or another browser.

3. Check Ad Slot in Page Builder

  • Ensure the ad slot exists in Page Builder.
  • Confirm the slot placement in the layout.
  • Verify the targeting ID is correct.
  • Ensure no custom code is overriding the slot.

4. Check Google Ad Manager

  • Confirm the line item status is Delivering.
  • Verify the creative is active.
  • Ensure the creative size matches the ad slot size.

5. Verify Targeting

  • Check Publisher ID and Targeting ID.
  • Ensure the targeting ID in Page Builder matches Ad Manager.
  • If targeting uses AND logic, consider using OR logic if ads are not matching.

6. Check Creative Setup

  • Ensure multiple creatives are added to the line item.
  • Verify the delivery method (for example: Evenly).

7. Check Mobile Ads

Add common mobile sizes if missing:

  • 320×50
  • 300×250

8. Check Ad Slot Mapping

Ensure each ad slot has a corresponding line item in Ad Manager.

9. Clear Cache

  • Purge site cache
  • Hard refresh the page
