SEO Tag Recommendations uses Sage AI to automatically suggest relevant tags based on the content of a story. These recommendations help editors quickly identify and apply appropriate tags without manually searching for them.

Note: This feature is available only when Sage AI is enabled for your publication and sufficient Sage AI tokens are available.

Using SEO Tag Recommendations
Step 1: Open or Create a Story

• Open an existing draft or create a new story in Bold CMS.

Step 2: Add Story Content

• Enter the story headline and body content.
• Sage AI analyzes the story content to generate relevant tag recommendations.

Step 3: Navigate to the Tags Section

• Open the Manage tab.
• Scroll to the Tags section.

Step 4: Review Tag Recommendations

Sage AI categorizes recommendations into two groups.

Existing Tags - These tags already exist in the Tag Manager and can be added directly to the story.

New Tags - These are new tag suggestions generated by Sage AI that do not currently exist in the Tag Manager.

If you have permission to create tags, you can create and apply these suggestions.
Each recommended tag includes a confidence score, indicating how closely it matches the story content.

Step 5: Apply Tags

• Review the suggested tags and add the ones that best describe the story.

Best Practices

• Complete the story before reviewing tag recommendations.
• Prefer existing tags whenever applicable.
• Review new tag suggestions carefully before creating them.
• Avoid creating duplicate tags with similar names.

Prerequisites

Before using SEO Tag Recommendations, ensure that:

• Sage AI is enabled for your publication.
• Sage AI tokens are available and active.
• The Tag Recommendations feature is enabled in the Sage configuration.

If any of these prerequisites are not met, tag recommendations will not be displayed in the story editor.
