The Section Page Introduction Card allows you to display a brief introduction or summary at the top of a section page. It helps readers understand the purpose and focus of the section before exploring its stories.
Adding an introduction provides useful context, improves content discoverability, and enhances the overall browsing experience.
Enable the Section Page Introduction Card
To enable the introduction card on a section page:
- Open Page Builder.
- Navigate to the Section Page template.
- Click Section Page Settings.
- Go to Layout Settings.
- Enable Section Page Introduction Card.
- Save and publish the template changes.
| Note: Enabling the option only activates the introduction card. The introduction content needs to be added separately for each section collection in Bold CMS. |
Add an Introduction to a Section
Once the feature is enabled:
- Open Bold CMS.
- Navigate to the Collection associated with the required section.
- Locate the Summary field under the collection settings.
- Enter the required introduction or summary.
- Save and publish the collection.
- The summary will then appear as the Section Page Introduction Card on the frontend.

For an effective section introduction:
- Keep the content brief and informative.
- Clearly explain the purpose of the section.
- Give readers an idea of the type of content they can expect to find.
