Changing Fonts in Templates

You can customize the fonts used across your website templates in Page Builder by uploading custom font files for titles and content.

Steps to Change Fonts

  1. Go to Page Builder in your CMS.
  2. Open General Settings.
  3. Select Visual.
  4. Click Language & Fonts.
  5. Enable the Custom Font option.
  6. Configure Title Font
  • Enter the font family name (Example: Montserrat).
  • Upload:
    • Regular (400) font file
    • Bold (700) font file

     7. Configure Content Font

  • To use the same font as the title, enable Same as title font.
  • To use a different font:
    • Enter the content font family name.
    • Upload Regular (400) and Bold (700) font files.

     8. Click Publish to apply the updated fonts.

Supported Font Formats

The following font formats are supported:

  • .TTF (Recommended)
  • .WOFF (Recommended)
  • .OTF
  • .WOFF2
  • .EOT

Notes

Please note that Page Builder supports only two font weights for each configured font: Regular (400) and Bold (700). Additionally, the Breaking News component will use the story text font configured in the theme and does not support separate font customization.

Change colors in templates

You can customize template colors from the Visual Settings in Page Builder.

Steps to Change Colors

  1. Go to Page Builder.
  2. Open General Settings.
  3. Select Visual.
  4. Click on Palette.
  • Add and manage up to 8 colors in the color palette.
  • Only these palette colors can be used across the website templates and components.

Customize Elements

We can customize colors for specific elements such as:

  • Sponsored tag on cards and story pages
  • Breaking News background and text

The default Sponsored label color is grey, but you can change it using any color from the palette.

Dark Mode Preview

  • Enable Dark Mode to preview how colors appear in dark theme.
  • Use the toggle in Page Builder to switch between light and dark mode previews.

Publish Changes

  • Click Publish to apply the updated colors to your templates.

Notes

  • Only colors added to the palette can be used in templates.
  • Breaking News colors must be selected from the configured palette.
  • Dark mode preview is available only when dark mode is enabled.
