Adding a Google Site Verification (GSC) tag ensures that Google recognises your website as the owner, allowing you to access Google Search Console reports and tools. This guide explains the steps to configure the verification tag in Page Builder.
Option 1: Using Third-party Integrations
- Login to your Page Builder account.
- Go to Settings → General Settings → Manage → Third-party Integrations.
- Locate the field labeled “Google Site Verification Tag.”
- Paste the verification meta tag provided by Google Search Console.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Option 2: Using the Custom Code Section
- From Page Builder, go to Manage → All Pages → Custom Code.
- Add the verification meta tag under the Header Code section.
- Save and publish the changes.
💡 You can also add the tag in the Custom Code section for specific pages if needed.
Important Notes:
- If the Google Site Verification tag appears empty in your site’s source code, it means it hasn’t been configured yet.
- The platform does not auto-populate this tag — it must be added manually.
- After adding the tag, complete the verification process in Google Search Console.
With the verification tag in place, Google can confirm ownership of your website, giving you access to valuable search insights and tools.
