To ensure that your Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) articles include a dynamic and up-to-date "Also Read" or "Related Articles" section, you must configure a specific Collection ID in your platform settings.

This collection, typically populated with the latest published stories, will be displayed automatically by the AMP framework on your story pages.

Step 1: Identify the Target Collection ID

Before updating your AMP settings, you need to know the ID of the collection you want to display as related stories. This is typically your "Latest Stories" collection or a collection specifically curated for this purpose.

  1. Log in to your Bold CMS (Content Management System).
  2. Navigate to Collections.
  3. Locate the desired collection (e.g., "Latest Stories").
  4. Copy the unique Collection ID associated with it. This is usually a number or an alphanumeric string.

Step 2: Access AMP Configuration Settings

The setting to link the related stories collection is located within the platform's configuration panel under the AMP section.

  1. In your CMS, navigate to the main Settings area.
  2. Select the Configure option.
  3. Look for and click on the AMP configuration panel.

You will now input the ID identified in Step 1 into the dedicated field.

  1. Inside the AMP Configuration screen, look for the field labelled "Related Collection".
  2. Paste the Collection ID you copied in Step 1 into this field.
  3. Crucially, ensure you only paste the ID itself, not the collection name or a URL.

Step 4: Save and Verify

The final step is to save the changes and confirm the new collection is displaying correctly on your AMP stories.

  1. Click the Save button to apply the changes to your AMP configuration.
  2. Verification:
    • Open an existing story on your site.
    • Access the AMP version of that story (usually by adding /amp/story to the URL).
    • Scroll down to the "Also Read" or "Related Articles" section.
    • Confirm that the stories listed match the content of the Collection ID you configured.

Once complete, the AMP pages will successfully pull the latest content from your designated collection, ensuring the "Also Read" section remains fresh and relevant.
