This includes:

  1. Fonts: You can set the font family used for headings and story text here. Note: Your Breaking news takes the font specified for story text

  2. Using Custom Fonts in Page Builder :

Page Builder allows you to configure custom fonts to match your brand’s visual identity. You can set up two font types:

Primary Font – used for titles and headings

Secondary Font – used for body content

This article explains the prerequisites, configuration steps, supported formats, and important considerations when using custom fonts.

How Fonts Work in Page Builder :

Page Builder supports two font weights for each font type:

Regular – Font weight 400

Bold – Font weight 700

These weights are used consistently across the site for titles and content.

Earlier, publishers could only select Google Fonts. With Custom Fonts enabled, you can now upload and use your own font files instead.

 Steps to Configure Custom Fonts

1.Go to Page Builder

2.Navigate to General Settings

3.Select Visual

4.Open Language & Fonts

5.Choose the Custom Font option

6.Under Title Font:

  • Enter the font family name (for example, Montserrat)
  •  Upload the Regular (400) and Bold (700) font files

7. If you want to use the same font for content:

  • Enable “Same as title font”
  • Skip the content font configuration

8. If using a different content font:

  • Enter the font family name for the content font
  • Upload Regular (400) and Bold (700) font files

9. Publish Page Builder to apply the changes

Supported Font File Formats

  • You can upload fonts in any of the following formats:
  • TrueType Font (.TTF) – Recommended
  • Web Open Font Format (.WOFF) – Recommended
  • OpenType Font (.OTF)
  • Web Open Font Format 2 (.WOFF2)
  • Embedded OpenType (.EOT)
  • For best compatibility and performance, we recommend using .TTF or .WOFF formats.
